Burger King and a burger named McVeggie...

So close - it was sooooo close.  I was going to BK to pick up some food for Shelley and I was so closed, "this" tempted to get me a Veggie Burger w/cheese - but alas I was strong and thought about my accountability to this blog and opted out of the burger (as, even the burger itself is not vegan) - and settled for a perfectly disgustingly unhealthy fries, onion rings and applie pie

"Vegan" Public Enemy #1 ...

WORK PLACE POTLUCKS!

Was I strong? ...... alas - no.  Was it good?  I'm ashamed to say but truth be told, it was so good that it *popped" in my mouth!

Pizza Night?

When on the way home, I was talking with Shelley who advised me she bought some vegetarian pizza that I was welcome to! Darn her for being generous - ha!  This offer was even more tempting considering that I was bummed from not having any massages all night - which makes this a hallmark week for me as it's the first time I had 3 out of 4 days with not a single client (not counting the "no show" who booked for a tension relief massage but never showed up).

Anyhow, the power of the blog hath saveth me :D and i was able to resist the pizza *whew*

Mariners game

I was at Safeco Field for the "Yankees/Mariners game" this past Monday and I was determined to be strong!  It was agree that as Susan was kind enough to provide Shelley and I w/free tix to the game - I would spring for the food.  We went to the ice cream stand and I stood my ground (*amazing at that*) but then it happened.  The clerk had given Susan too much and she offered some to me in knowing that she couldn't finish it - and *splat* - I fell off the wagon (but just for that bit of ice cream though, nothing else).

This is a big opportunity of weakness for me, when I don't actually purchase something myself but for some reason or another - the non-vegan food is available for consumption and I choose to give in.  In all fairness, in this instance - my choice didn't directly relate to the purchase of the ice cream nor did my "cave in" result in future weak moments (which tends to happen on an all too frequent basis).
